Wedding cards

Good morning peeps! Another hot and sunny day here in the UK...............not!! Wouldn't it be great if we could flick a switch and turn the c**p weather off and the lovely warm sunshine on? I suppose we should be grateful that it wasn't a repeat of last summer, but you'd think after that we would have earned a scorcher. I would be quite happy for warm sunshine all day and rain during the night...........see, I'm not greedy just cold and fed up of grey sky!!!!

Right, enough of the miseries and on to the reason I came on here :)

I made this card for the couple I've just made the seating plan etc for. They get married on Saturday and the bride is wearing a stunning outfit in the style of riding ladies from the early 1900s similar to these I can't wait to see the photos! Their wedding colours are dark brown, ivory and silver. A friend cut me the bride and groom on the Robo (I'm not clever enough to do it on mine-thanks Pam) in dark brown and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

This card was for a rush order which came in on Sunday evening................and the wedding is tomorrow but it had to be posted to Kent. I have found that these little Sizzix figures are still one of my more popular for weddings. I cut the dress in a beautiful tapestry card from PDA and it looked very 'weddingy' :)
To do' list
5 cards for September birthdays 3 done
brother's scrapbook second page done
6 thank you cards for my box
6 baby boy cards for my box
I have a couple of weeks now untill the next wedding and wedding fayre so I'm going to give the list a miss for a while. I have Christmas orders coming in too now so will be able to fit in with some challenges I hope. I also need to make some jewellery as the jewellery party season is upon us and also because I don't have any hand crafted jewellery on my web site at the moment.
I'm now going to make some baby and thank you cards and I might just do another page in the scrapbook..............his birthday is the 10th of October so I really need to get a move on with it!
Thanks for looking, take care.
