Handmade wedding invitations

This is the reason I love my job so much  (as well as having a warm and cosy craft room at home so not having to venture outside when the weather is lousy) but I get to play weddings and meet the nicest couples/brides and bridesmaids/families and they like my work enough to let me have one of the main roles in their weddings. I feel completely honoured to be lucky enough to make the stationery for them :)

I would like to add at this stage that we, Party Nights Creations have a sale on at the moment. If you order your day and/or evening invitations during the month of December you will receive a discount of 10% as seen in Wedding Ideas.

I had another invitation order collected on Wednesday morning and another happy bride, thank you Catherine.

I made a seating plan, guest book and favours with name tags for the wedding on Saturday for Sue and Paul
and some more Thank You cards for Judith and Howard
and I also made some cards for the new Kathy's Waffle challenge which goes live tomorrow.
Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you later.

Funky Friday

Woo hoo, get me.....a Funky (Hand) Friday post on a Friday AND in the morning lol  (it was actually morning when I started writing this post but I got sidetracked and it's now afternoon!

This card has a little gift pocket on the front of it which is great to pop either cash or vouchers in. I thought we would add a bit of zing to the card instead of  sticking to muted colours. Again, the papers are left over from previous projects. Papers used are from the Daisy Day download and Moving Home from the Wishes & Kisses cd,

I must go now as I'm in the middle of an order for 108 evening invitations.

Have a lovely weekend and I will (hopefully) be back tomorrow :)

Thanks for dropping by. xx

Have a mice day!

I realised after I had blogged yesterday that I had forgotten to add a sentiment to my mum's birthday card from the kids so I added and rescanned it.
The sentiment was generated on the lap top :)

I made a quick card for my son in law who passed his driving test this morning. It took me about 10 minutes and had to make it super quick as DD2 was going to see him.Not one of my best but he liked it :) sizzix car, Doodlebug rub ons, the paper is Brenda Pinnick or K Co (not sure as I bought a mixed pack off ebay!), green satin ribbon and an L which was done on the computer.

I also finished the 10 wedding invitationsMy 'to do' list is about to shrink! I've found it really useful to publish it this week as it has spurred me on to try to clear it (try it Kathy-it really works ;))

an exploding box (now cut out)

another breast cancer awareness phone charm

start my samples for Debbi Moore Started

Necklace and keepsake box for mum's birthday

The following two are the start of next week's list.

100 Christmas cards, order confirmed

Seating plan, 9 table names and 80 place cards

box time now. Thanks for looking.
