One more off the list...
......and a fabby award :)
The card is for the Sketch Saturday #34
The scalloped circle is punched from K & Co paper and I don't know what the other papers are as they are from my 'scrap' box. The daffodil and butterfly stamps are from the new Papermania Macmillan stamps of which £2 from the sale of each set goes to the fund. Both images were watercoloured. The border was punched with a Martha Stewart punch (I still really want the doily punch and can't find it anywhere at a decent price! :() and the diamantes are from my stash. I can't make up my mind whether or not to put a greeting on the card.
I've just received this award from the lovely Hazel
Thank you so much Hazel :) (I won't do a Kate Winslet LOL)
These are the conditions:
In order to get this award you need to:
1). Post a link of the person who gave you this award.
2). Nominate 5 other people and give a link to their sites
3). Let your nominators know that they got an award from you.
4). Put a logo of the award on the blog.
I always find this part so difficult and usually just end up asking people to take it if they want it but I shall have a go at doing this properly, so here goes! I shall nominate
Gosh that was difficult and I just hope I haven't offended anyone by either giving or not giving!

My award
I would like to say a great big 'thank you' to Hazel for her kind words and lovely award :)
"The rules are to give it to five others, who shall give it to five others.. You shall link the one you got it from, and also the ones you give it to:) And let them know. And there is more... You have to write down five things you are addicted to...."- Card making
- Coffee
- Card making
- Jaffa cakes :)
- My lap top!!
I would like to give the award to
Beryl who makes great cards and leaves lovely comments! :)
Enfys who also makes great cards and leaves lovely comments ;)
Sally-Ann (now Sally-Ann has just got the award from someone else but she has been such a big help in making my Christmas cards that I couldn't not give her an award :))
Liz from Pink Petticoat who has also played a major part in my Christmas card making this year!
Kathy who is a great inspiration
Merry Christmas girls.
......and now for the rest of the stuff I made this week
All the componants of this card were from Craftwork Cards apart from the sentiment which is a rub on from MSE.
This set was part of an order. It is teal mesh with black beads. The picture doesn't do it justice as the colours are more virant IRL.

This is another mesh set which was ordered from the jewellery party I did on Thursday. This one is black mesh with white and silver lined clear beads.

This bracelet is magnetic and was made for a special friend's Christmas pressie.
My 'To Do' List
make
6 gift voucher wallets (2 are in progress)
2 necklaces for DD2 and her best friend
a gardeners year book for my mum
a 'birthday book' and calendar for my brother who is lousy at remembering birthdays!!
post it note holder for DS
cd clock for DS's best friend
a gift bag for a special friend
Dad's birthday cards (Boxing day!)
5 forum birthday cards
clean my house
ironing
pop to town first thing on Monday morning to pick something up.
Not much there then and I need to pack my Christmas stuff away as we are moving my craft table into the dining room for Christmas dinner. I think that's about it.
I shall now go and tackle the work mountain :)
Take care and have a lovely weekend. xx

Thank You
This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind blogger’s aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight blogger’s who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
I would like to say thank you to
Sheila (aka manic stamper) (which is fab because I've been in awe of Sheila's work for years :))
I am going to take the easy option now as I don't think I can narrow it down to just eight bloggers! If you read my blog and would like the award then please help yourself, you deserve it!
I was also given this award by my friend Andrea back in about September and forgot to blog it.........thank you very much matey!
To pass on The Wylde Women Award, the rules are:-1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between - it’s up to you! Make sure you link to their site on your post.
2. Link back to Tammy's blog (the originator of the Award). The purpose of the Award is to send love and acknowledgement to women who brighten your day, teach you new things, and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.
I hope you're sitting comfortably because I'm now going to blog this weeks work ;)
