Silver and gold

This is the final part of yesterday's order for my friend. She is giving a dinner party next week for her birthday and asked me to supply her with place cards and favour bags for her guests, I did the same at Christmas in hot pink and turquoise and they looked great together. This time though she has gone for a more subdued silver and gold!

The stunning acetate butterflies on the place cards are from Kanban. I'm not sure if they are still available any more but I shall have a word in the ear of the Kanban powers that be and let you know. I would like to see them return as I love them and use them very sparingly at the moment.

Thanks for dropping by xx

Waffle, waffle, waffle

Welcome to the update post for Kathy's Waffle Sketch File challenge. Kathy's 'draws' the most amazing sketches every month and as part of the design team we hope that you can find inspiration in our work. I know when my mojo has left me at over 100 mph I've gone in search of sketches and they really do help especially when there projects to inspire too.

Kathy has post two variations of the sketch this month and it never ceases to amaze me how different a project can look just by rotating the sketch slightly.

and onto my card
Paper and topper are from the Love & Marriage paper pad from Kanban, silver mirri card is from Joanna Sheen and the pearls and crystals are from my stock.

Right I'm off for now as I'm about to start sticking 240 2mm crystals onto embossed favour boxes!
Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by. x

It's Christmas again!!

This time I've made my card to enter into a couple of challenges

Well, three to be precise

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes plus blog hop - Happy 5th Birthday!

Di's Snippet challenge - my tree is stamped on a piece of card from my snippet draw

Less Is More - Silver

The stamps used are from the same set by Wild Rose Studios and they are available at Handy Hippo

It's only Monday and how many times have I blogged today? And I've cleaned the house, done the ironing (well most of it!), sorted the stuff to go in the Kids Company box and have started uploading my stuff for sale :)

Back tomorrow, take care and thanks for looking. xx
