Card sketch

It's time for another of Dawn's fab sketches on the Inspirational Card Sketch challenge blog again (these Tuesdays seem to come round really quickly)

I'm really not sure about this card, it's very busy.........maybe over use of patterned paper! The papers are freebies by Nancy Watt (she comes up with some really lovely papers!) from this month's Making Cards magazine available through craft shops in the UK, the image is one of my new Imaginisce Snag Em stamps from Crafts U Love and the 'Dad' is a rub on. I've left the sentiment off the card so it can be used for any occasion.

Thanks for looking :)

Secret Crafter

The Secret Crafter Challenge blog is up to number ten already!

This week's challenge is a theme set by KIM: -
EMBOSSING - DRY OR HEAT
We would like to see embossing on your creations, dry or heat it's up to you
!
So here are a couple of quick cards I came up with.

Supplies
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Imaginisce rub on
Sleigh bells from Craftwork cards
Ribbon from Ribbon Oasis
DP Anita's Blue Christmas 6x6 pad
Gems

This is the last post for now as I haven't any more work to show at the mo. I'm quite pleased with yesterdays effort though...............I think I made all but two of the cards and the tags yesterday!
Back to work now :) See you later, thanks for looking.

Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge

Challenge 3
This week there is no sketch but a theme, set by the lovely KIM which is "Blue, White and a little bit of snowflake!". Again any project can be made as long as it fits with the theme.
I made a very quick card for this challenge

I used the Winter House embossing folder by Cuttlebug, sprinkled the rooftops with Debbi Moore's fine glitter and added the snowflakes and snowman which were cut with Cuttlebug dies from white glitter card. The image is mounted onto navy card, the ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis and the rub on at the bottom actually says Winter Wonderland but you can't read it properly (and I don't know how to make my piccies big by clicking on them!) Rub on is by Imaginisce which I ordered yesterday from Crafts U Love and they arrived this morning! Brilliant service :) and they have free P & P until Monday night.
