Gone green

well, not literally but the challenge for this week on the Passion For Promarkers challenge blog is to use green as the predominant colour.

I think I can safely say that my card is predominantly green :) The image is from Pink Petticoat coloured with Promarkers, pink card blank is from Craftwork Cards, papers are a free My Mind's Eye set from Cardmaking and Papercraft, flowers are Prima, brads from Woodware, sentiment is from Papermania and the ribbon is from my stash.

Take care and tfl

Allsorts

Challenge #62 are looking for a project for a baby or child and the challenge has been sponsored by Wink Wink Ink

I thought I would make another easel card for this challenge......I don't make one for ages then every other card is an easel lol

The fab image is a freebie from yesterday's Delightful Challenges blog hop and is just perfect for a card for a child. the freebie has now been removed but the image is available to buy from the shop. The image was coloured with my Promarkers, all papers and card were from my leftovers and the ribbon and assorted buttons were from my stash.

Thanks for looking :)

and the rest!

A couple of the cards were made for weddings a couple of weeks ago but I forgot to upload them

Assorted papers from my left overs, stamped and digi images and ribbons and gems from my stash.

And that's it for tonight (or should I say this morning!)
Take care and thanks for looking :)

Sketch Saturday

Another fab sketch from the DT over on the Sketch Saturday blog

Papers and sentiment sticker (again) by Papermania, image from The Digistamp Boutique, heart coloured with a Sakura glitter pen and the gems are from my stash.

wedding cards

...and there's more!!! I made the next card using this week's Papertake Weekly challenge sketch

Again everything has come from my desk/stash. Papers are by Papermania, image is from Happy Ever After by Liz at Pink Petticoat, flowers are Prima and the other bits are left over from other cards.

Kathy's sketch

I've spent the last 24 hours making cards for hubby for weddings from Saturday until the end of August so the sketches, challenges etc always come in handy as do digi stamps. I've made 11 but have one more to make, then when we get back from our hols I can make a start on Septembers!! I've already made a card for Kathy's Waffle sketch but thought I would revisit and give it another go as I thought it lent itsself perfectly to C6 landscape cards.

All of the papers and card were from my left overs mountain (which, incidentally isn't going down!!), the flower stamp is a new one by Woodware, gems from stash and I've used a couple of punches and dies.
Thanks for inspiring me again Kathy :))

Sketch challenge

This is another of Dawn's brilliant sketches over on the ICS blog this week

I turned the sketch upside down as it suited my image better. I can't remember where the image came from...I have tried searching for it to no avail! It was, however, coloured with Promarkers. Papers are by My Mind's Eye and were a freebie on the front of Cardmaking and Papercraft this month, the page frill was punched from a left over piece of one of the Crate Papers using Martha Stewart's Doily punch, everything else is from my stash.

Why not hop over and see what the other DT members are offering this week, then you can join us :)

Wedding reception stationery

Yesterday saw the wedding of a lovely couple who I first met about two years ago. I made their invitations early last year and was privileged to have been asked to make all of the reception stationery and flowers too. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the wedding and although I couldn't go to the reception or the evening do because hubby was working, I did go to church to see them married and it really made everything very special indeed. We have become friends and I will keep in touch with them....congratulations Jo & Phil :)

I actually made the card for the Daring Cardmakers challenge, sponsored by Teri's Delicious Doodles, which meant layering up the image on your card. The only problem is that I forgot to photograph the card laying down to show the three layers of my bride and groom! I wonder if they will still have me :)

Orders of service

Place cards
The whole lot
Post box
and the card I made them

Flowers for the bridal party
and the happy couple
Please excuse the photographer, I couldn't get the angle right without him in the picture lol
I eill add photos of the reception later as hubby took a couple on his phone and he has it with him.

Stationery orders

I'm in the process of clearing off my desktop on my lap top which is where I dump all my pictures till I sort them. I know it's a bad habit and I should really put them straight onto my external hard drive but I don't, then I have a mammoth session like tonight where it takes me bloomin hours to sort it out lol

So these orders were from back in June!!

A fortieth birthday

A wedding
100 thank you cards (made on Monday and Tuesday of last week!)

Oh, and a couple of Father's Day pressies!
I made two of the 'Pints of socks' and one of them also had a packet of Maltesers tucked inside it.

Thanks again for dropping by :)

Wedding cards

As you probably know if you pop by here often, I always make DH a card for him to take to work to give to the person whose party or wedding it is. This time of year (and Ch******s) are what he calls the 'silly season' and he means that we don't get to see each other much lol We are currently at the height of the wedding season so he spends more time at the local hotel than he does at home :) I made him a few cards recently and have to make 10 for him from now until we get back from our hols! They have to be quick to make so I usually use digi stamps and assorted card sketches. (My new item on the Sketch and stash challenge is the Papermania 'Confetti 'papers)

These are the ones he has taken over the last few weeks

I've used assorted papers and embellishments which are often left over on my desk from my previous makes. Ribbons, flowers etc from stash and most images have been coloured with Promarkers.

Thanks for looking :)

All creatures great and small

is the theme for Tracy's challenge on Rosie D's blog for this fortnight and her brief is
"we want to see any creations with animals on. Whether it be as big as an elephant or as small as a mouse. But an animal needs to be your main feature on your creation. So if you need to blow the dust off one of your animal stamps and give it an inking please join in. And the prize this week is:-"

I am also entering this card in the Papertake Weekly challenge as I think it definitely meets the brief of Cutie Patootie-so anything goes this week, as long as it’s cute cute cute!!!!
I won my little elephant stamp (coloured with Promarkers) a couple of years ago in some blog candy and he is just so cute. Paper is by Pink Petticoat, Card Candy is from Craftwork Cards, sentiment is by Papermania and the ribbon and fish charm were from my stash.

Thanks for taking the time to look and I hope you can pop over and join in with Tracy's lovely challenge.
