Funky Friday

Late again but at least I'm still on the right day. I'm having a nightmare with one of my printers and it's thrown the whole day out with faffing about with it. I use two printers...one I use for printing of papers because it will take compatible inks. I've had it for years but it needs a kick every so often as the pink/red prints like a dirty brown and it usually works again once I've pampered it with a head clean etc but today I had two put 2 different lots of magenta ink in it for it to work. It seems to 'refuse' to work properly whenever I buy new ink for my other printer which I use just for my wedding stationery so maybe it just doesn't like the competition lol.

I sort of got carried away early this morning and instead of just the one card, I made 3 :) Anice has come up with a couple of fabby new downloads called Santa Baby and Christmas Tree from a new collection called Oh Come All Ye Crafters. The downloads are available as papers, word books or both together at a discounted price. I printed off two of the papers then I decided that I would use one of the solid colours as a mat for the patterned papers, then I decided that I wanted another paper but not much of it so I printed this at A5. I then needed another sheet which made 5 in total which is how I came to make 3 cards. My challenge to myself now is to see how many cards or projects I can get out of these four A4 and one A5 sheets of patterned paper. Watch this space......(and I haven't even started on the Christmas Tree selection :)

The Santa image is a pre coloured digital stamp from The Twelve Crafters Crafting cd from last year, I went over his belt and boots with a black Sakura Glaze pen.

Right, I'm now away to print off my Christmas Tree papers and hope Mr Mojo stays right where he is lol.

Sleep tight and thanks for looking :)

It's so annoying how much time it takes up when things decide they don't want to behave. Spent days trying to sort out a printer problem myself a few months. Sorted it in the end but lost a lot of valuable crafting time. Three great cards from these papers Jackie and my fave is the top one. Love the starry bp, the trees and the die you have used to cut the mat for them.
