Competition cards

I've made a few cards over the last couple of weeks which haven't been shown yet. The first of the bunch is a birthday card for a lovely blogging buddy who celebrates her birthday today....

All papers and image are from Pink Petticoat, gems, ribbon etc is from my stash.

I made the next cards to enter into the Papercrafter of The Year in Card Making and Papercraft magazine but a couple of things happened over the last week or so and I bottled out of sending them :( Hopefully my confidence might put in another appearance soon!

This card was made for the Pink Petticoat section of the comp....I do have other papers, honest :)

Image coloured with Promarkers.

The next card was made for the Sizzix section but was really difficult to photograph as it is so reflective! It does look better IRL.
The alphabet used was Wingo Zingo. I've had it for a long time now and it is still one of my faves, I just don't use die cut alphas much now.

This card is made with one of my new Lili of the Valley stamps. I bought my first two a couple of weeks ago but they could become a new addiction lol
That bear is just so cute! The papers were downloaded from LOTV too. The poinsettias were cut using my new Marianne dies.

I made my 1000th post last night so I thought I would offer some blog candy. As soon as I sort out some goodies I shall write it up and leave at the top till the end of the month. I hope you will join in :)

Thanks for looking. x

And the rest

Here we go, I hope you're sitting comfortably because I've made a few again! (Sorry Kathy:))
This card was made for a forum birthday. The image is by Pink Petticoat which I coloured with ProMarkers and added glitter to the bubbles. Papers are from Craftwork Cards and the flower is Prima.
Paper is Craftwork Cards again (I love this paper, the quality is great and it has a lovely sheen to it)
the Christmas tree was a freebie on a craft mag and everything else is from my stash.
Another quick card using Sally-Ann's download. The thing I like about these are that you get a sheet which Sally-Ann has pre-coloured and another sheet just outlined for you to colour yourself. The precoloured ones are great for quick cards like this one.........add a bit of Stickles and away you go! Ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis and the brad is from my stash.
Another really quick card! Cuttlebug embossed tree with added gems, red card, spotty ribbon, Bobs your uncle!! (I never understood that saying when I was young because I've never had an Uncle Bob abd felt as though I should have!)

Papers are from Die Cuts With A View and Basic Grey, I think the acetate image is from Graphicus but am not 100% sure (I bought them at a craft fayre) The image has been glittered on the reverse and made into a shaker card, the sentiment was done on the lap top and I added a piece of frayed cord and some 'Sleigh Bells', from Craftwork Cards to finish it off.

This is another card made using Sally-Ann's downloads! I've just added a bit of bling, a bit of ribbon and a bit of DP :) Paper is from Debbi Moore again.
This is another commissioned card, this time it's for an elderly couple. The image has been decoupaged and mounted onto red card. I've used a piece of Figgy Pudding paper, some silver ribbon and some silver Sleigh Bells to finish it off.
I also forgot to add the tags I made for my swap on the Crafts By Carolyn forum.

I used a selection of goodies from my desk so heaven knows what half of it is ;)

Back in a mo with a couple more challenges :) TFL
