Pink Petticoat

I seem to be using these images loads at the moment, thanks Liz!! I had a request for another one of the 50th birthday cards I made the other day but without the 50 and this is what I came up with

The same but different! Image and backing paper is Pink Petticoat again coloured with Sakura sparkly pens, spotty ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis bag is Quickutz, flower is Prima with added bling and the plaque is from Craftwork Cards The card also fits with the Friday dare over on the Daring Cardmakers blog which I didn't realise as I was making it :) Here is this weeks brief "It's Keryn here and it's my turn to set the dare this week.I'm just loving all the new scallop punches that are out at the moment, circles, ovals, squares, edges etc, etc and then there's the corner rounder and slit punches that can be used to scallop edges as well.Use your imagination, your scallop punches, your corner rounders, your cricuts and cuttlebugs to create any card to fit any style as long as it shows scallops."

Now to make an acetate card.............and I might add scallops to that too :)

It's February already

How on earth did that happen? I'm sure someone has put the calendar on fast forward!!!

I actually managed a challenge from Just Bex yesterday morning. I had to make some baby cards for the shop and when I went to check out the forum, two of them fitted Nicky's brief!! Scalloped edges are SO very in, darling, so to cash in on the trend, for this challenge you need to make a card featuring a scalloped edge somewhere. You could use appropriate scissors, or scalloped punch, or any kind of die cutter, but if you haven't got any of those, you could always draw some scallops and cut round them (so no excuse for not entering.) I've just noticed that six of my cards fit the challenge :)
All my scallops were cut with punches, embossing was done using various Cuttlebug embossing folders, papers and card were from my offcuts box (so I've not idea what most of them are!) die cuts are a mix of Cuttlebug, Quickutz and Sizzix, flowers are Prima and the other bits were all from my stash :)
No more crafting till tomorrow evening (apart from finishing off a set of wedding stationery). I've just bought another Pink Petticoat cd which is urging me to use it so tomorrow I will play!
I have a couple of appointments today (but they are coming to me so I don't have to go out). I do need to go and get dressed though LOL
Tomorrow I have a wedding fayre at a new (to me) venue so if anyone is thinking of getting married and fancies an amble round a lovely hotel then we are at Hellaby Hall near Rotherham.
TTFN and thanks for looking :)
