I've had another busy couple of days............and I love it!! I got all my samples for Debbi done and posted so am well chuffed with my little self. I've also got all the details for the seating plan etc so today will see a big change on the 'to do' list!!
As hubby was going in the shower before work last night (at about 4.50 pm) I realised that I hadn't made a new home card for him to take up to the hotel for me. I'd had a little snoop round a couple of challenge sites and downloaded a couple of templates to use for my baby cards so I decided to use the current sketch by Page Plans to make the card
Papers and image are all from Pink Petticoat and the ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis

Ho ho ho!!
I'm well under way now with my Christmas samples for Debbi but obviously can't show them yet but at least we've got wintery type (well almost) weather. I always struggle to make Christmas cards when the sun is blazing and it's warm outside :)
I can, however, show you Rosie's necklace I made to match her bracelet from DD.
I used irridescent 1.5mm Miyuki Delicas, bronze seed beads and 4mm Swarovski AB crystals. I looks lovely in real life but I couldn't get a really decent picture of it. I also made a card to send with it. Stamp is from Funky Kits and the backing paper (I think) is from an old K & Co pad. They were posted to day so hopefully Rosie will get them tomorrow.
And now the list :)

Guest designer
How could I forget something as important as this?!
I've been asked by Nikki at Dewdrop Craftz if I will be a guest designer...........I am absolutely thrilled and can't wait to see what she sends me. The only clue I got was 'male cards'...............no problem there then LOL
I may have some more super duper news shortly too, but need to check with the boss first though. Watch this space!!!
Sunny Sunday
What started out as a miserable, wet day turned out to be lovely and warm.

Spotty paper is Pink Petticoat again, I bought the flowers at a craft show a couple of months ago and the stamped image is by Creative Expressions, sentiment was printed on the pc and crystals are from my stash.
Greek thank you cards
The vase is an unmounted stamp I've had for a long time, the flowers are all Primas, the Ruffles are from Craftwork Cards, pearls are Papermania and the crystals and organza ribbon are from my stash.
So now my 'to do list' looks like this :)

I also managed to get an hour in the garden this afternoon. It was looking lovely before we went away but it is such a mess all of a sudden. DH got the grass cut front and back and I decided to chop, sorry , prune back the Passion Flower (which covers two sheds!), the rose (which covers the arbour and half of the bottom of the gards) and the Jasmine which has taken over the other half :) Alan Titchmarsh would have a fit if he saw me with my secateurs LOL I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and start weeding the borders, in between working and after taking DD to town in the morning for her new school uniform.
Thanks for reading, back soon. xx

Back to work
I just kept them really simple and used pale pink and pale blue throughout. Both albums were tied with blue and pink organza ribbon from Ribbon Oasis The children's names were printed onto tags and strung between two die cut doves on silver cord. The albums were then finished off with silver Bible charms.
I also had an order for 13 thank you cards waiting for me when I got back, five bridesmaid, one chief bridesmaid, a flower girl, a best man, one page boy and four ushers.
Let's hope it works as well as it did before I went away :)
Take care, thanks for looking and I am looking forward to having a blog hop later!
Zakynthos
Well we're back and rested and it seems such a long time since we were over there (we got back on Tuesday evening!) The most strenuous things we did was to have a shower and go out for dinner.
This is what we had to endure every day :)
Our apartment was the one directly above the corner parasol on the far side of the pool.
Note the cloud? It was the only one we saw for the whole two weeks.............the weather was just amazing, so hot!
It was the second time we had stayed at these apartments and we have decided to return again. The people are just so friendly, the service is excellent and it is spotlessly clean. Up until now we have alternated Zakynthos with Cornwall but I am seriously thinking of knocking Cornwall on the head and going abroad every year from now on. DH is leaving the decision up to me as I'm the one who is in love with Cornwall. I desperately want to live there but we can't afford it as the price of property is really expensive now. It is also more expensive to go to Cornwall. The apartments we use are right on the beach but when you factor in petrol and everything else it all mounts up. We have usually been pretty lucky with the weather down there but at least by going to Zakynthos we are guaranteed hot sunshine!
I took some beads with me and made a couple of things sat by the pool or on the balcony. I also gave out quite a few business cards ;)
DD gave the bracelet to a girl she met over there and I'm now about to start a matching necklace for her as she is wearing it for a wedding next week.
Washing has all been done at last and I now have to tackle the i***ing :( I think we managed to get two loads dried outside and the rest went in the drier..............what lousy weather to come back to. I'm glad today is a bit warmer, I've been cold all week!

Papermania!
I bought a couple of little album kits last year because I liked the papers only to find out that the papers were an exclusive kit and wouldn't be reproduced to sell separately. I've also amassed quite a few other bits and bobs from Papermania which is a bit strange as I don't buy much of their stuff. However, I decided it was time to try to use up some of the papers etc and decided to make a mini album for my mum with the few photos we took at her bbq.
