Funky Friday

Our super friend and team mate (Kathy's Waffle) has started a Facebook page just for us lazy so and so's who start out blogging with all good intentions but then it drops off without us realising it BUT (and in my case it's a big butt ;)) you have to make a card too :) Here are the details in Kathy's own words

"I've just started a Facebook group called "a Card a Day" and I'm hoping that lots of fellow-card makers will use it as a virtual "prod" to get those cards made - it's an "open" group so anyone can join in, and enlist their friends too. I'm hoping it will encourage us all to use our own blogs more and to visit and leave a message on each others' blogs too - Just a "hello" to say you were there if time is short. We all need and appreciate knowing we're not just talking to ourselves, don't we?Hopefully this will help with all that Christmas card making - and any other cards too so please come along and join us. If you're not on FB you can still join in by leaving a comment on Kathy's blog and she will post a link to your blog on the FB page for you
Of course, a little bit of cheating is allowed - so making a few cards on one day and then sharing one at a time is perfectly acceptable...;)"

So here are my 'Funky Friday' and my 'Card a Day' makes
This card is made using left over paper from the "October Freebie" from Anice at Funky Hand for anyone who would love to take part in the Get Funky challenge but doesn't own any Funky Hand products. The sentiment is from Twelve Crafters Crafting and the tree is a Memory Box die.
Papers from Traditional Ole Xmas by Funky Hand. This paper hasn't been released yet but most of the other new papers and digi stamps are now available on the Funky Hand web site
You should really take a look at the papers, they are seriously gorgeous :)

I made the bottom card using the sketch from Mojo Monday
I can also add them to Di Snippets
and Sarn's Penultimate Rudolf day

I now need to go and make my son's birthday cards, it's his birthday tomorrow (the sign of a true crafter lol )

Thanks for looking.

ooooh oooh hyperventilating now over that MB die - should I have bought that one too?
Love all the cards Jackie - trees are my fave Cword card image - though I have been trying to use other motifs too this year

Fab cards Jackie! I especially love the Christmas tree die (wonder if it's a so and so to work with?). And thanks for the FB tip off :) Once I write the roll call for this week I might investigate - a lorra folk playing right now!

Just watch out for the latest addition to the playground - a giraffe named Henry no less!

Hugs, Di xx

My goodness, you have been a productive card maker.
I am one of the really, really slow crafters. I seem to spend more time moving all the elements around on my card a zillion times before i glue them down.
If I ever have 3 cards ready to post all at once, I think they will declare a national holiday!
They all look fab, too!
