Friday Sketchers

Sketch #76
This sketch had me baffled at first but I think I managed it lol

Material: image - Forever Friends ~(magazine freebie), Promarkers, papers - My Mind's Eye, ribbon - Ribbon Oasis

I think my image is definitely cute and fuzzy so I'm also entering this card in the Stamp Something challenge this week as they are looking for "Cute and Fuzzy. You can use a cute and fuzzy image or just something that you think says cute! Or make a cute card or a fuzzy card!!! It's up to you, have fun with this one!"

It's show time!

Saturday is reveal day for our RD challenge cards and this week's challenge has been "This months theme of SHAPES continues with a recipe. So, we'd like to see 2 squares and a rectangle on your project this week please" so here is mine
I made it for DD's 16th birthday last Monday and it was well received :) Don't forget to hop over to Rosie Dee's tomorrow evening when the new challenge is posted. We would love it if you could join in with us and play.

Forgot one

and forgot the 'to do' list (I wish ;))

This one isn't for anything in particular, I just had the image and offcuts on my desk before I tidied up last night. Image is Forever Friends by Papermania, flowers are Prima, the pink and orange check paper is from the Scrumptious pad by Papermania. I don't know what the pink floral paper is, I just keep finding small pieces, non of which have a name on. I wish I knew though because I love it.

On to the 'to do' list, looking even better

I am working absolutely flat out at the moment till anywhere between midnight and 2 am but I'm not complaining as I feel very lucky in the present climate to be working.

Keep an eye out over the weekend as I will sort out some blog candy. I have just gone over 500 posts and it is my birthday on Tuesday so I will have a shop around and see what I can come up with :)

Just editing this post as I've realised that this card fits with Deanne's challenge on Rosie-Dee's Today I'm wondering what do certain colours mean to you! Does a specific colour set a memory off?
When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby, everyone was adamant it was a girl; now I'm not a girlie girl at all, practically hate the colour Pink! So when Riley was born, I had a huge smile on my face and thought yay no pink :) but ever since I now crave the colour pink, I love it! Odd eh..
So my challenge this week is the colour Pink, cant wait to see what pink means to you.

2 Sketches 4 You

It's Kazan's sketch #21 this week

Forever Friends image coloured with Promarkers, Doodlebug and HOTP papers, Bazzill Bling cs and other bits and bobs are from my stash.

I'm still using my vast mountain of off cuts and it still doesn't look as though it's going down! I need to sort it all and get rid of some pieces that are obviously no good although when that will be I haven't a clue :)

Papertake

Weekly challenge "This weeks challenge is Snow! Anything snow related - snowmen, snowflakes, snowy scenes etc!"

I have used my own sketch for this challenge and have drawn it onto paper :) My cards usually come out of my head and if I need to recreate a card I have to go into the relevant folder on my lap top. I decided during the week that I would start a 'sketch book' and currently have this one sketch in it.......I wonder how long this idea will last LOL
The papers on this card are from Lilli of the Valley, the 'armless penguin is a free download from Funky Fairys and the silver ric rac was free on the front of a mag :)
These papers are a mix of LOTV and Papermania, I made a shaker box using Sprinkles from Debbi Moore and an image from a sheet of free Forever Friends stickers and the snowflake brad is from my stash.
