My 'To Do' List

I finally managed to get my to do list cracked off, well most of it anyway!
So, the first item on the list is make crackers

along with the ties for the napkins and the choccy money I used as table confetti! I also made place cards which I forgot to add to my list.
The next thing on my list is 2 necklaces for DD2 and her best friend.
I only managed to photograph this one as DD needed the one for her friend straight away but it's very similar to this one, just a few different beads!
Then I had a gardeners book for my mum which I abandoned as I ran out of time. She didn't know she was getting one so I can make it any time.
A birthday book for my brother..........I was cheeky here and wrote everyone's birthdays in it!! It made him laugh :)
I also decided to make one for DD1. The papers used on the first one are by Little Yellow Bicycle and the second one are Brenda Pinnick.
So next I did a Post it Note holder for DS
I also decided to make one for DH as uses post its when he's djing, for writing down requests.
Dad's birthday cards which I finally got finished at 2.30 am on Christmas Day!!!
Large letters were cut on the Robo using Doodlebug 'Bazzil' card and the rub ons (I think) are by Mambi. the candles were hand cut using some oddments of K & Co papers from the mat stacks. The card was based on the little self adhesive cake button in the bottom corner. I think it's from a Sue Dreamer sheet.
The house was cleaned to within an inch of it's life and 'most' of the ironing was done and the rest was shoved into our bedroom :)
So the new list looks something like this:

My 'To Do' List
a gardeners year book for my mum
cd clock for DS's best friend (no rush because he's a JW and doesn't celebrate Christmas so will give it to him next week)
5 forum birthday cards

Debbi Moore samples from new kit
DD1's wedding invitations

Slider card

I've never made one of these before but needed a special card for my friend's 60th birthday but from her great nieces. Her sister (the lady who ordered it) thought it was great!

I used K & Co papers and Prima flowers. I also made a little envelope and stuck it on the back so the little ones could write her a note.
This next card was ordered by the birthday girl from above for her granddaughter's birthday.
The large 2 was cut by hand...........what a job I had trying to get all sides even. I should really have cut it on the Robo! Papers again are K & Co, hefalump is Penny Black, ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis and the Vintage Berries are from Craftwork Cards

I also made a couple of Post it Note holders to complete the orders, along with the earrings below.
More K & Co papers, this time from the 12 x 12 Baby pad

Last week part 2!

and now for the paper stuff!

a quick card for DH to take to work last week as he was djing at a gay wedding.

My first slider card and I love it. The snowman stamp on the slider was bought last year from Cornish Heritage Stamps and I've used him loads, he's just so cute, and this time I stamped him in pale blue Brilliance ink. The die cuts are Cuttlebug and the snow etc is white glitter card. The rub on is by Imaginisce. It's the first time I've used their rub ons and I am definitely impressed.

Another quick commisson. The verse is a stamp from Rubbadubbadoo (sp), hearts are Sizzx cut from silver mirror card. I finished it with wide organza ribbon and some crystals for a bit of bling.
I loved making this card and did it as a mini album keepsake card so the parent could record details and add photos. It was a hit and I'm makin another one as a first Christmas for a baby boy. All papers are K & Co from the 12 x 12 baby pad, flowers are Prima and I've added assorted die cuts and stamped images.

a selection of Post it Note holders. DH bought a huge box of pens for when he does karaoke (because they always get pinched) and I found them so decided to incorpoate them into the covers! LOL I've used assorted papers and embellishments and the flowers are Prima.

Papers this time are Brenda Pinnick and Love Elsie, flowers again are Prima and the buttons are Papermania.

I also made a selection of Cuddly Buddly calendars in cd cases

and the Gardening Calendar books.

and some 'different' post it note holders. These are on acrylic stands so they can be stood on a desk.
And last but not least I have a sneak peek of some DT work I've done for Nickki at DewDrop Craftz My challenge was that I could make anything I wanted as long as it wasn't a card, yikes!!

These stamps are really cute but my first thought was "what on earth can I do with a mushroom" (or words to that effect, but I finally managed it and Nikki is pleased with what I did. Piccies will follow later.
I will show more pics later as I have orders to fulfill before Tuesday, Wednesday we are going to the O2 Arena to see Simply Red in concert, coming back on Thursday, I have 140 black and red Christmas crackers to make for a local hotel for a meal on Friday evening and am doing a jewellery party at a local school on Friday afternoon!!! Not sure about sleeping ot eating in that little lot but hey ho! I moan when I haven't got any work LOL
Take care and thanks for looking. I will try and visit as many blogs as I can this evening. If I visit yours and post drivel then you'll know #'m doing it in my sleep :))
