Kanban Thursday

Hi everyone, I'm late again with my blog post but this time it's only by 24 hours :) I have so much to do at the mo it's unbelievable with trying to get on top of the garden after this diabolical spring (I wish I could afford a gardener but the last time I got one to help me he pinched half of my bulbs :() My greenhouse needs cleaning too as one of us left the wick up too high and it's all covered in soot! The mop and bucket and Jeyes fluid is at the ready.

So my card is one for my box (I will add the 'ingredients' list later, I don't have my notebook with me at the mo as I'm sat watching The Voice (go Leah!!!)

This card was made for my best friend and her hubby on the birth of their first granddaughter.
 Thanks for dropping in.

Bfn xx

PS Don't forget the challenges over on Kathy's Waffle Sketch File and The Crafting Muskateers, they are both month long challenges so there is still plenty of time for you to enter. xx

Congratulations

It's been a really strange day today regarding the weather. When the sun has been out it has been lovely and warm and (obviously) bright, however as the clouds drifted across not only did it get chilly but it was as though someone had flicked a switch...it got quite dark. Luckily we had a bit more sun than cloud and it is supposed to be getting warmer again this week.

It's the turn of the wedding cards to hit the blog today as I've managed to get a couple done for the stand over the last few days in between orders.

Papers used are by Stampin Up and they are gorgeous!
Papers again by Stampin Up and the image is a stamp by Elzybells
I have no idea where this image came from apart from it was half of a decoupage sheet bought a couple of years ago!! Cute though :)

That's all for now......it's past my bed time ;)
Thanks for stopping by and tomorrow it will be blog catch up time.
Take care

You passed!

I've managed to slot some 'ordinary' card in for the shop in between orders over the last couple of weeks and have been building my stock up slowly.......then on Friday a lady came in and bought 6 cards and my rack doesn't look so full again lol
I did get some driving test cards done though and only sold one :)

The cards were made using an assortment of materials including Sizzix die cuts (which I hardly ever use nowadays!) and the papers and image on the last card are from Funky Hand Craft The Year Away and Colour Me Happy cds.

It is so lovely to be back in the land of the living...our phone and internet went off on Thursday morning and after much searching for numbers and great expense (for ringing 0845 numbers from a mobile) we actually found out that it wasn't just our service which was out, it was the whole area!!!! I'm still wading through my 492 emails so if I owe you one, it will be with you soon.

Thanks for looking.

Secret Crafter

Just in time for tomorrows challenge! This is another quick card (and I mean like 10 minutes quick LOL) as hubs is djing at a wedding this evening. I can remember back a couple of years ago when he had a stock of cards in a box..............now I seem to be making them as he is going out of the door :)

So here is another lovely sketch which I haven't done justice to (it's a good job it's the thought that counts)
Paper is K & Co, image is one of the Bang on the Door stamps and the other bits are from my oddments box.

75 and counting!

I bagged up 75 cards the other evening and have another nine on my desk so far which need doing and I haven't even thought about our own cards yet. I did think about doing them last night but didn't! We went to Ikea to get some bits and bobs for my cousin's salon and it was after nine when we got back. I am going to do them now though :) I went at lunch time and took some jewellery through to the salon and hubby put the cabinet up for me. I meant to take my camera with me but forgot all about it.
Papers are from last year's DCWV Christmas pad cut with a one inch square punch edged with charcoal ink and the images are (I think) by Papermania.
This was done using a set of instructions from Sue in the Crafts By Carolyn weekend challenge from last weekend. Papers are again from one of the Anita's pads and the flowers are Prima.
Love this Scribble Snowman (as if you haven't guessed ;)) Backing paper is from Lilly of the Valley. Very simple Cuttlebug tree finished with a few gold gems.
Free Forever Friends stickers mounted onto white card, cut round and matted onto pink Bazzil Bling.
And last but not least, a very quick wedding card for hubby for tonight.

I must remember it's our wedding anniversary on Thursday.........now all I need to do amid this chaos is to make DH a card LOL
Take care, sleep tight and TFL.
