I'm not quite sure what to do or am in a hurry to make a card I always reach for my Kanban stash (and boy do I need to use some...I still have loads!)

Good morning world, it's an awful long time since I was last here, well, 8 days to be precise. I added these cards and materials on Monday evening so I could just add a bit of dialogue before they went live.......and promptly forgot about them. Apologies if you received this post as it was lol. I have had a pig of a week (and some very nice bits :))but I think I'm coming out of the other side, my load seems to be lightening :).
I have made loads since I was here last but have just been photographing them and sticking them in my 'Edit' folder. I am going to make some computer time today to start sorting them out so there might be loads of posts over the next few days. I haven't joined in with the 'challenge' on FB a Card a Day Blogging, the Facebook page I also need to update my side bar with my design team members as some have left all of the DTs I'm on.
It was my wedding anniversary on Tuesday and we went out for a lovely meal on Tuesday evening to a TexMex restaurant in town where we used to go an awful lot when we first got together. I think the fact that hubby lived across the road at the time and it was often easier than cooking lol. Anyway when we finished the meal we were just getting ready to leave when he presented me with a white envelope and in it were.........tickets to see Gary Barlow in Sheffield next Wednesday (I think). I am so looking forward to it. Congratulation on picking up your gong yesterday Gazza :)
So onto my cards....these are my DT cards this week and I'm actually pleased with all three for a change. I still love working with Kanban materials, the quality is wonderful.
I love using acetate on my cards and don't use it nearly enough so I took the chance with this card. I went looking for a quote or something to use as the feature on the sketch and came across my little DCWV Quote Stack which is starting to look a bit forlorn LOL I cut the front off my card leaving a border of approimately 1cm as I like to attach the acetate to it on the inside so once I've added a paper frill there is not tape showing. The ribbons were from my stash, vellum is by Papermania and is glitter embossed (and absolutely beautiful) the acetate and vellum were punched using my newest MS punch which arrived yesterday :), the flowers were from Crafts U Love and the self adhesive pearls were from my stash. I decided not to add a sentiment to the card so it can be used for any occasion.I meant to show this one yesterday and got ever so slightly side tracked! I moved some of my plants down to the greenhouse as the weather turned horribly cold and did the ir**ing. DHwas working yesterday evening so I watched Strictly Come Dancing (just how good are Austin Healey and Tom Chambers and Gary Rhodes really needs to go out tonight!:)), the X Factor (I wish they would all stop crying and saying they want it so bad. Surely if they didn't want it bad they wouldn't have applied!) and Casualty.......I am just so sad LOL I spent the rest of the evening (and from 7.30 this morning) colouring images ready to start my Christmas cards on Monday.
I love making acetate cards and this one was a commission for a lady whose wedding party thank you cards I made last year...................I can't believe their first wedding anniversary is coming up.
The only problem is that they are a b***er to photograph :) If anyone can give me any tips I will be very greatful.
I'm going to do a bit more colouring before I get DH up as we are taking DD1 and son in law to be to a wedding fayre. I've exhibited at dozens with my business but have never been to one as a mother of the bride (and I get to check out the opposition at the same time ;))

The next card I made for a friend to give to a friend of hers. She will be 60 soon!!
It's difficult to show but it is actually an acetate card. If anyone has any tips on photographing acetate I will definately welcome them. I made the actual card from Crate Twirl collection (which I love)! I then fastened the card inside an acetate sleeve with Papermania pearl brads. The flowers are Prima, Papermania and the large one is from Dunelm. The front tucks into the flap at the bottom of the card. I cheated with the box............I put together a bought one and decorated it!
I have two birthday club cards to make and 30 wedding invitations tomorrow so not too strenuous. Also tomorrow we are going for an all you can eat Chinese buffet. It is absolutely superb and at £4.99 a head it would be rude not to! LOL DD2 is cooking at school tomorrow, she is making a meat pie (Tuesday's tea) which means I don't have the dreaded task of thinking what to have for tea until Wednesday................I could get used to this!!!
Papers are K & Co, as are the 3D stickers. The card is finished with Bubblgum brads by Doodlebug and a couple of diamantes. I scanned it instead of photographing it and after I had packed it I realised I didn't have a pic of it open, doh! I shall enter the card for the blog candy offered on Anna's blog
