Wedding stationery

It's Wednesday again and I can't believe it's it's a week since my lap top was so poorly. Luckily I didn't lose anything it just caused my son 24 hours of blooming hard work! I'm still trying to recover and change passwords as I visit different sites as all my history was wiped so my passwords went along with that, I'm getting there though.

So now onto the real reason of my post and that is because today is What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #139 which is organised by the lovely Julia on her Stamping Ground blog. I would like to offer huge apologies for not visiting anyone last week but I had a bit of a computer problem (see below). I will make sure I poke my nose into the craft spaces this week though and thanks for all the visits I got.

My desk

as you see, I'm in wedding stationery mode at the moment. These will be finished and collected today then it's straight onto the next lot of 75 which are going on Friday :)

Also while I'm here, take a peep at Crafty Linby's blog. She has some fab candy on offer.

Right, back to my invitations now so I can take time later to start visiting the WOYWW bloggers later.

Blog candy!

So..........my first ever blog candy give away :) What do you get? Well there is
2 12 x 12 paper packs (one girl, one boy) from the English Paper Company
1 pack Wendie Rhodes stamps
A pack of buttons in cream, pink and blue

1 yard pieces of assorted ribbon in pink and blue
A hand full of vanilla dewdrops
The wonderful Nikki from DewDrop Craftz has very kindly donated a couple of single image or a set of Digiz from her shop which includes the fab images below
I might even chuck in some stamped images and I've just learned to crochet flowers so you might be unlucky enough to get a couple of those too LOL

So there you go! What do you need to do? Well I would really love it if you could shout about my candy on your blog to spread the word, if you want to become a follower then I would really love that too, then just leave me a message so I can add your name to my list! :)

The candy give away will last until 31st October and I will announce the winner on 1st November (and I might just have another lot of goodiies to give away then:))

Blog candy

I was the very, very lucky winner of Hannah's blog candy and my little package of yumminess arrived on my doorstep on Wednesday! Isn't it great how a couple of pieces of plastic can make you feel on top of the world LOL
Here are my lovely goodies chosen by me and very generously paid for by Hannah, thank you so much, I will think of you every time I use them :)
I've had my eye on these two for a while and had decided to put them on my Christmas list........now I'll have to think of something else although I don't think it will be too difficult ;)

Thanks again Hannah, you're a star *hug*

Dawny's Sketch #11

Another of Dawny's fab sketches this week and one I shall definitely use again. When you have spare time take a look at Dawny's blog not only will her posts brighten your day but her work is fab too :)

Not sure what the paper is on this one but the image is another Sally-Ann download (just take a look at the blog candy she has on offer!) There are some new designs on there too so I would probably have to go shopping shortly :) The rub on used for the sentiment are Doodlebug and the brads are from my stash.

The plus part of the title is that the card also fits the challenge on the Secret Crafter blog which is....Favourite Colour:- As usual any creation but must be based on your favourite colour scheme Well it just so happens that my favourite colour is yellow (of which there are a few yellow cards on my blog!)

Blog Candy

Last minute Lizzie as usual! I meant to do this card the other day when I first saw it on Jo's blog and then promptly forgot all about it. She wanted a pink card but one made specifically for her candy shout. I've just made this one hence the lateness! Anyway, Jo is giving away some fantabulous blog candy (including my very favourite Sugar Dumpling paper :)) to celebrate all the good things in her life at the mo, chiefly her DH coming home from working in Australia...........have you stopped smiling yet Missus?

So, my pink card

The scan doesn't pick up the colours properly so I will photograph it tomorrow in sunlight (hopefully) It is actually lemon and pink. So, the image is Pink Cat Studio (one of my favourite set of stamps) painted with pearly paints, the ribbons are from Ribbon Oasis flowers are Prima and others from ebay and a bit of bling finishes it off nicely.

This is a guest book I've done today too. The bride and groom are having a Liverpool themed wedding and I'm doing table names in the shape of football shirts. The seating plan will also have miniature shirts on bearing the names of some of the players!

Well, that's it for now...........I'm going to post my comment on Jo's blog.

Back soon

Blog Candy

Look what I've got through the post!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Kath for all this wonderful candy. As well as the Brenda Pinnick album there are papers, chipboard letters, embellishments, flowers, buttons, ribbons and fibres! Wow, it's fab.

I also got a couple of little bits yesterday from A Card 4 U

3 Bugs paper pad, Just Dreamin kit from My Minds Eye and some Bazzill card. Oh and some card bags (my mum wanted a corner rounder which was £4.50 and it was free p & p over £25, so naturally I had to make the order up! LOL) Prisma pencils and blending stumps were from ebay :) I am very pleased with my little lot but I know it will stay in the drawer for a while for a couple of reasons..............1. I am too busy to do any proper crafting (I mean which hasn't been ordered) an 2. i have loads of paper pieces still which I'm trying to use up.

Have to go back to work now as I have appointments right through to 5 today. If you come to look, please let me know by leaving a comment even if you don't like my work. It's just lovely to see where my visitors come from :)
