Funky Friday

Good morning and welcome to another Funky Friday. There has been plenty going on this week in Scruff's Corner, lots of cards made and blogger and Facebook problems. Oh and we have been kicked up the butt and have finally started the web site revamp so as you see, it's busy, busy,  busy! However, it does mean that I have actually caught up with the other girls on
a Card a Day Blogging

I have last week's Funky Friday to show as well as the card I made for this week (which was actually made on Tuesday just in case time wasn't my friend again :)) Instead of making a card, I made some tags and I'm going to parcel them up in bags of 6 I think for the craft fayres. The backs of the tags are blank.

And this week I succumbed and made a card :)
All of the papers and images (the gorgeous robot is from the Craft The Year Away cd) are from my Funky Hand scrap folder. The buttons are from my vast collection :)

Please don't forget to have a look at the Get Funky! challenge for this month. It runs until the 14th November and there is a prize of a download of your choice but you have to use a Funky Hand product to be in with a chance. If you don't own anything from Funky Hand then don't worry, every month Anice creates a freebie paper for you to use.

As I've used a load of snippets all week (go me!!) I'm going to scare the living daylights out of Di and sneak into the Snippet Challenge playground again :) xx

Thanks for looking :).

Secret Crafter's

Saturday Challenge This week it is set by our lovely JILL and it's a theme:PAPER PIECINGAny project you like but there must be an aspect of paper piecing on your creation, which may be stamping onto patterned paper and placing over parts of your image for example to make clothes for your characters/items, or by making your own backing paper and piecing onto your project.

My future son in law rang me on Christmas Eve and asked me to make a large card (A4) for someone at his work who was retiring on New Year's Eve. I managed to get the image stamped onto assorted papers and card on Christmas Eve but that was it so I had to put the card together yesterday morning before we went to my parents for Dad's birthday. The upshot was one very simple card. I used assorted pieces of paper from my 'left overs' box, the letters were from a tub I chuck left over letters into ;) the fab stamp is from Sally-Ann (when she had her ebay shop selling stamps), the ribbon was from Ribbon Oasis and the sentiment was computer generated.

I'm done!!

I have officially broken up for Christmas :) I still have a long to do list but it's for personal gifts and house****!! Although it has been a really crap week at Scruff's Corner I have still be crafting/working as I've had quite a few orders to fulfill and I managed to tie some of the cards into various challenges. I've missed the deadline on a couple by not posting earlier this week but it's not a problem, I shall show them anyway. :)

So first up are a couple of very quick (and basic) tags and a box which fitted a couple of Sue's challenges on the CBC Forum
The tags were sent to the IOW to go on DH's niece and nephew's pressies as we sent their mum a cheque to get what they wanted as last year it cost us about £15 to send their gifts! Much easier this way.
MiL's Christmas card
Wallet for her gift vouchers
Bracelet box. Paper is from an A4 pad from Craftwork Cards, snowman is Cuttlebug, flower is Prima and the tag was cut using a large punch.

The bracelet in the box! The large white pearls are magnetic and the smaller ones are a lovely pinky/peach colour (believe it or not!) I also made her a gardening diary which I forgot to photograph and she got a selection box too.

Rosie-Dee's

......Challenge blog Last weeks challenge was "Where have the weeks gone? We're on week 8 already! WOW, it'll soon be Christmas!!!So, with that in mind being only just round the corner, I want you to make a 'Trio of Tags for Christmas'." So without further ado and late as usual, here are my tags - I either got carried away or I can't count (you decide!)
Not very inspiring but they'll only end up in the bin with the wrapping paper! LOL

That's it for now.......I shall get back to my calendars :)

Take care and TFL.
