Anything Goes

Good morning, I hope you are having a lovely weekend and that the weather is being kind to you!

It's my turn (Jackie) to show you my challenge card today for Lou's chosen challenge of "Anything Goes". Lou set the challenge off with a stunning wordbook on 15th August and as the challenge doesn't close until 14th September there are still a few days to play along with us. We do have one stipulation when entering our challenge and that is that you must use a Funky Hand product. If you don't have any of Anice's fabulous papers (you don't know what you're missing ;)) then every month she comes up with a freebie paper for you.

All the papers on my card are from the new download,  Daisy Day (see below) including the flowers. My only additions were the ribbon which I pleated across the bottom of the green panel and I added gems to the middle of the small punched flowers. Daisy Day is available from the Funky Hand web site at the miniscule price of £3.49!!!

Something blue.....

I was playing with some blue papers the other day, making my DT card with the lovely blue freebie paper from Funky Hand, when I decided to make a start on an album for the sister of a very special friend of mine. Carol was 50 the week before Christmas and wanted an album to put her birthday photos in.

I've used the sketch, again on it's side, from Kathy's Waffle Sketch File image is a See Dee stamp from years ago, it is one of my favourite clothes stamps but I always forget about it, and am going to add my page to the following challenges

Pixie's Crafty Snippet challenge as the small pieces of paper are Funky Hand snippets (I must be heading for a turn on the roundabout now :))

It's my turn to show my card for our Get Funky! December challenge (it seems a long time ago now!) which is to make a thank you card. There is still time to take part in the challenge but not much as it finishes tomorrow. There is the freebie paper too if you don't have any Funky Hand products and it's available here

I love this download and it definitely makes for a very quick and simple card.

Funky Hand

Have you checked out the Funky Hand challenge blog, Get Funky! yet?
This month's hostess is Jules (from AlwaysWith a Heart) and she has chosen "Show us your Heart" as the theme for this month's Funky Fifteenth challenge. The main rule of the challenge is that you must use a Funky Hand paper. However, if you don't own any, the lovely Anice has given out a freebie which can be found here. Please follow our rules, they are very simple. Every couple of days on the Get Funky blog one of the team uploads their project with a bit of info about how they made it and what they used. There is some amazing work over there, please take the time to have a look.

Sketch Saturday

And another post, a bit like last week really with the catch up posts only this week I've managed to squeeze these in now instead of waiting till the end of the week.

Just look at this sweet little teddy, isn't he gorgeous? He is a freebie from HERE Hop over and take a look at the lady's blog, her work is beautiful and she has some lovely free images.

There will be a few 'give aways' over the coming weeks as I am gutting my craft room (!) and getting rid of anything I haven't used for the last couple of years. So first up is this paper pack and as you can see it is still sealed.
