I am really pleased with the way these favours etc turned out so I'm going to build a full stationery set around them. The favours were made to dress the Holiday Inn, Warmsworth, Doncaster a couple of weeks ago when we attended a wedding open evening. This gives the wedding couples a chance to see the venue dressed as it would be for a wedding.

Sunday!!!
It's ok, I do know it's Tuesday but I'm up to Sunday with my posts so I'm getting there :) as I showed the card yesterday which was made for the couple who got married on Saturday I thought I'd show the stuff I made as part of the wedding package.
This photo isn't brilliant but I couldn't go and take another as one of the hotel banqueting staff took them for me and they don't stand out very well on the table. The name labels are attached to small organza bags which contain two heart shaped chocolate in ivory foils and they can then be used as place cards.
Thanks for dropping by :) xx

wedding favours
Made for a wedding fayre last month and will be used again for another in a couple of weeks time. I'm a recommended supplier for one of the local hotels and when we have a wedding fayre/open day the venue is always dressed so that people can get a rough idea what it would look like set for a wedding. We had four tables set this time, each with a different colour scheme and these were my contribution.
and a seating plan made for the same fayre
Thanks again for looking.

Congratulations!
My brother and his girlfriend got engaged during the week so as I wanted the card to be a bit special, I made them an acetate card. I really love using acetate on cards and they are always well received as they are a little bit special. Tina loves angels so I made a little beaded charm to hang on the front of the card. The sentiment is a rub on by MSE Scalloped card - Ruffles - Craftwork Cards Congrats rub on - Letraset Everything else from stash
Fresh and FunkyThese were all made for a display in a local wedding shop who are good enough to advertise my work for me.

Need a favour
Gosh, I am so bad at thinking up titles for posts!! Anyway here are some pics of what I have been up to this week.
I am doing two guest books at the moment then tomorrow morning I'm having my nails done and tomorrow afternoon I shall make two seating plans and a few more place cards. We are dressing two very different venues, at the same hotel, on Sunday. One is a Victorian House which we are doing in burgundy and gold and the other is very modern in dark blue and gold.
I will be taking my camera with me so will post some pics soon.
Take care. x

At last........
......I have finished everything for my parents' golden wedding celebrations on Saturday except a card and 'honeymoon' voucher, but all the really important stuff is done. I have just taken a few photos of the favours but unfortunately I don't bond naturally with a camera! Hubby takes all my 'decent' piccies.
And so to round two-lottery ticket envelopes!
Before I go, I would just like to say another huge thank you to everyone who leaves lovely comment on my blog. I do try to visit as many as possible but don't have a great deal of time at the mo. I have you all bookmarked and will keep visiting and leaving the odd comment. As soon as I have five spare minutes I would like to add some (or all) of you to my buddy list. If you would like to do a link swap, please leave a message and let me know.
Back soon. xx

Wedding fayre update
Thank you for all the "Good Luck" wishes for the wedding fayre yesterday. I have done loads of wedding fayres and they don't bother me any more but I was very nervous about this one in Sheffield! The museum is beautiful, the food is lovely and once I got set up I felt really at home. LOL I sold tiaras, gave out loads of brochures, some of my tiaras were used for the fashion show, I made lots of new contacts and generated a lot of interest so I feel really pleased with the whole day apart from the astronomic parking fees. It cost us £9.30 to get out of the NCP car park, it's a blooming rip off. Any way, moan over! Here are a couple of photos. The first one is my set up and the other two are a couple of the models wearing my tiaras.
