Craig and Toni-Marie have left us as they both have other commitments to keep them busy.

Master Chef

Thanks to everyone who joined in with Debs' Spots and Stripes challenge over the last month, we love looking at all your work!

It's Kathy's turn to host the brand new Funky Fifteenth Challenge over at Get Funky! and she has chosen to challenge us with a recipe and the ingredients are

3 different papers
5 flowers
2 buttons
1 length of ribbon (you can cut this up if you like)
A sprinkling of pearls or gems to season.
At least one Funky Hand product must be included and as always, Anice has designed and uploaded a freebie for you to use if you don't have any of our products and this is what it looks like, a yummy Kraft paper!

Don't forget to stop by and show us what you've made,

Remember you MUST use at least one Funky Hand product to join in and qualify for our monthly prize.

We say this every month but we still get a few entries which don't abide by our little set of rules (all one of them :)) If you don't use anything from Funky Hand, your project will not be commented on, sorry.

Good luck and happy crafting.

Sketch #71

It's challenge day on the Inpirational Card Sketch blog and Dawn has delivered yet another great sketch for us to play with.

Gingham paper is a download from the Activity Village, baby wording is letter stickers from a scrapbook kit I bought a while ago (I stick them to acetate before cutting out then they can be mounted onto 3d foam tape as it stiffens them), sentiment is using Doodlebug rub ons and the tiny shaped buttons are from my stash.

Don't forget to take a look at the fab cards my team mates have made then you please join us and leave a message so we can come visit. :)

Passion..

For Promarkers are celebrating their first anniversary this week with some fabulous prizes on offer.

"The challenge this week is an easy peasy one for you “anything goes”, so you can make absolutely anything you like as long as you use your promarkers."
I had to make a birthday card last night for DH's niece's birthday this weekend and this is what I came up with

I decided to make her an easel card as I haven't made her one yet and I used a butterfly image is from DewDrop Digiz shop, she has been coloured with Promarkers and 'Glamour Dusted@ to within an inch of her life lol Her wings really sparkle but the camera hasn't picked it up very well! Everything else is from my stash.

I hope you have sunshine wherever you are. Back soon, tfl.

Two by two

I've used Lesli's sketch over at Page Plans to make both of these cards. The second one fits in with the Secret Crafter's challenge #7 this week which is to use buttons on your card.

Papers on this card are from the DCWV 6 x 6 Christmas pad and the snowman image is from an old SA Kit.
This is the 'Secret Crafter's card'. The paper used on this card is from the Blue Christmas 6 x 6 pad by Anita's, the sticker images down the left hand side are by Papermania and the buttons were from ebay a couple of years ago, I think they are by Craftime but not 100% sure. I love the little snowman button and it was my last one :(

At last........

......I have finished everything for my parents' golden wedding celebrations on Saturday except a card and 'honeymoon' voucher, but all the really important stuff is done. I have just taken a few photos of the favours but unfortunately I don't bond naturally with a camera! Hubby takes all my 'decent' piccies.

We only have 3 children coming and as they are all under 5 we decided to do them teddies with chocolate buttons instead of the 'grown up' favours.
The adult favours contain gold coloured 'Smarties' and as well as having the names printed on the front, I have added each menu choice to the reverse. The meal choices were made so long ago I didn't want people arguing over meals and this way makes sure it doesn't happen!

And so to round two-lottery ticket envelopes!

Before I go, I would just like to say another huge thank you to everyone who leaves lovely comment on my blog. I do try to visit as many as possible but don't have a great deal of time at the mo. I have you all bookmarked and will keep visiting and leaving the odd comment. As soon as I have five spare minutes I would like to add some (or all) of you to my buddy list. If you would like to do a link swap, please leave a message and let me know.

Back soon. xx

Buttons are from Crafts by Carolyn and the greeting is stamped and mounted onto foam pads to give it a 3D effect.
And last but not least (for now)
