Debbi Moore

My DT kit this month was Debbi's kit of the month and I really enjoyed using it. The floral stamps are just gorgeous and stamp brilliantly. I had shades of pink embossing powders and pink and purple assorted ribbons and I could've gone on making forever!!

This card was made by stamping onto cream card using black Versafine ink and colouring with Marvy pens. I then tied the purple ribbon round two squares of glitter card and mounted them onto the card and overlaid the image with it's silver mirror card mat.
This next card is a plain and simple envelope card. They always look difficult but impressive especially using the rich colours, but it couldn't be easier and once you've made one you can roll them out no problem :) I use 144 x 144 mm square cards and cut the back of one to measure about 2 cms. Join the two cards together with DS tape or glue and cut both fronts on the diagonal as per my card. Decorate the fronts as required, I've used a combination of gold mirror and glitter board and stick to the bottom of your card to make the envelope. Cut a band to go across the front and deorate and finally make the insert using the piece of waste card which was cut from the back.
Another easy card, this time it's an accordian card. I stamped four squares of orange card using the corner daisy stamp with a Versamark pad and brushed the images over with Perfect Pearls-this gives the image a lovely shiny look and doesn't detract from the main image. I stamped and coloured the main image and mounted it onto gold card again and used a piece of bright pink ribbon, tied round the middle of the left hand side, to hold the sentiment.
My final card for now is an acetate card but made with acetate on the front rather than the whole card, which I usually do. Once I'd cut off the front panel of the card leaving a piece of approximately 3 cms, I stuck the acetate onto the outside using DS tape. Add the 'awning' piece across the top of the card and you can't see the tape! My piece of 'Someone Special' glitter card is from Debbi's web site too. It's a mixed pack and is absolutely beautiful. Don't forget that when you are using acetate to add something to the back of your embellishments or the adhesive will show. I always polish mine with a soft cloth when I've finished, just to get rid of any finger marks :)
I hope you like my efforts!
