Mojo Monday

This is another fab sketch (as always) and more inspirational DT work. It's definitely worth taking a look even if you don't take part in the challenge!

Materials: papers - We R Memory Keepers and Doodlebug candy dots, Image - Digi Stamp Boutique coloured with
Promarkers (surprise :)), everything else from stash

I decided to be a wuss and stick to my usual square card!

I'm doing quite well at the moment using bits from my left over paper mountain and what's on my desk (one day I may be able to see it in it's entirety lol)

Papertake Weekly

I did quite well at ploughing through the challenges yesterday.......it has certainly helped me bring my Valentines stock up to date. I'm very late this year as I'm fitting them in with the wedding work. I need to finish them this weekend for definite as I need to get some Mother's Day cards made as I've got none whatsoever in stock!

Materials: papers - We R Memory Keepers and Pink Petticoat (I think!), image - Digi Stamp Boutique and coloured with
Promarkers, MS punch and everything else from my stash

Materials: papers - Pink Petticoat and Craftwork Cards, image - Sketching Stamper coloured with Promarkers,

Rosie Dee's

Last night saw the release of the new challenge on Rosie Dee's Challenge blog where we have been given another one of Rosie's brilliant sketches. We have been sponsored this time by

where there are some fab digi doodles.

I rotated the sketch for my card and used Love in Bloom paper from My Minds Eye, image from Delicious Doodles coloured with Promarkers, Prima flowers, Crate rub on, ribbon and dewdrops are from my stash. Why not take a look at the DT cards and have a go yourself as you stand to win the same set of images we used.

Sketch Saturday

Two quick cards and another challenge ticked off, this time it's Sketch Saturday. The second card doesn't match the sketch perfectly but I liked the layout!

Materials: paper - Crate (can't remember which one), image - Digi Stamp Boutique, gingham ribbon - Ribbon Oasis,
MS punch, (you can't hear this cos I'm whispering) greeting - black peel off!

Materials: papers - Love in bloom, My Mind's Eye, image - Digi Stamp Boutique, sentiment done on the lap top
and button and cord from my stash

Thanks for looking, back later.

Blog freebie

There will be a few 'give aways' over the coming weeks as I am gutting my craft room (!) and getting rid of anything I haven't used for the last couple of years. So first up is this paper pack and as you can see it is still sealed.

If you would like it leave me a comment below and spread the word about my freebies please. I will leave it up until midnight next Saturday (23rd) and choose the winner on Sunday morning when I will put up the next freebie :)
Please scroll down for new posts.

Good luck

Hip hip hooray

Stupid title for a post but what the heck :) I managed to catch up with Kathy's Sketch Files too yesterday so am still please that I've done every single one.....maybe not in the month it was published but I've done them :) So here you go Mrs B, the final one from last year.....

Materials: papers - magazine freebie, image - The Digi Stamp Boutique, coloured with Promarkers,
assorted punched flowers, sentiment done on the pc and everything else from stash.
I am also entering this card into the DCM challenge for this week (also set by Kathy) as I've used pointy flowers and the challenge this week is What's the Point?

I'd like to see cards featuring points or pointers of some kind - the hands of a clock, arrows, pointing fingers, view-points, pointy stars, pointy ears (hehe), pencil points.... maybe pins and needles could also be incorporated into your
 designs.

Materials: papers - Be Loved, My Mind's Eye, image - Delicious Doodles coloured with Promarkers,
velvet ribbon - Ribbon Oasis, MS punch and gems from stash

The winner of my papers (as she was the only entrant all week :)) is TRACIE Could you email me your details please (link is on my side bar) and I can get them in the post tomorrow.

Thanks

Dolly Mama

I made a couple of Valentine and a birthday card yesterday and managed to tie in some more challenges. It doesn't sound much does it? I did also knit the front of a baby cardi, made a quiche for tea and some butterfly buns and cleaned my kitchen (sorry for swearing)!!!
Anyway let's talk about something a bit more interesting :) Using the sketch from the Friday Sketchers I made a card without a proper sentiment so it could be used for many occasions.

Materials: papers - K & Co and Bazzill Bling, image - Dolly Mama coloured with Promarkers, flowers - Prima,
gems - Papermaia, sentiment - Craftwork Cards, ribbon - Ribbon Oasis, MS punch

I really like this stamp but haven't used her for a long time. So my card also fits the following challenges
"So our challenge this week is a colour challenge and it is Pretty Pink Papertake. So pretty straightforward really, you can use other colours as well if you want, and as long as your card is predominantly pink, then that's fine :)"
"Our challenge this week is ‘girls, girls, girls’ but you can use any colour promarkers you like *yay*. We want to see all your girlie images used this week."
"We'd like you to make us giggle! Just create a project with something funny....a funny image, sentiment, whatever....we're just looking for a fun little chuckle!"

It's a fair while since I made a card which incorporates more than one challenge and I'm quite chuffed with my little self!

and there's more

As well as the stationery and sample orders, and DT work, the following were amongst my crafty makes / commissions for the Kid's Co

I didn't make these, I bought them from Asda!

I already had most of these knitted up and just had to do a couple of pairs of bootees and stitch them up. There will be a lot more in the coming months.

The box was commissioned for a little boy's first birthday who's dad is a Liverpool FC supporter, hence the red and white :)

I've entered my box in a new blog challenge called Just Cute Bears. All the challenge makes must feature a bear so as mine has one on the front I thought it was appropriate :)
Back later x

DewDrop challenge

I made another card for the DDC Challenge Me Don't forget that the colours are lilac and lime and there is plenty of time to join in with out challenge. There is a fab prize on offer too for this one :)

Materials: image DDC digi, Promarkers, brad - Woodware, everything else from stash

Mojo Monday

Another card from yesterday evening was made using the Mojo Monday sketch I really like these sketches as they are never fussy or cluttered, neither of which I do very well (which you would find hard to believe if you saw my craft room :)) So, DH is working tonight, he is dj'ing at a 40th birthday party so as usual I needed a quick card for him to give to the 'birthday boy'.
Very quick and simple.

Materials: papers - Pink Petticoat and K & Co, ribbon - Ribbon Oasis, sentiment sticker - Papermania and everything else from stash

Inspirational Card Sketches

I finally managed to get some challenges done last night. I've had quite a bit on again this week with wedding orders, commissions and knitting for the Kids Co I've now got a team of knitters (friends and rellies) so we should be able to get quite a bit done between us. I asked one of the big companies who I get my wool from if they could help us at all (free oddments of wool or cheaper postage and they said no!), still, if you don't ask you don't get. If any of you reding this has any odd balls of wool lying around I would be very grateful of them :) My email addy is on my side bar.

So, onto my first card. When I first looked at this sketch I thought it looked really complicated ..when I came to do the card, it wasn't LOL

Materials: paper - Be Loved, My Mind's Eye, image - Digi Stamp Boutique,Promarkers, sentiment - MSE rub on, Nesties
ribbon and roses from stash

I need to make a fair few cards today so I can hopefull catch up with all the challenges I've missed.
