The pink and yellow card along with the Crate paper are all off cuts, the flowers, ribbon and diamantes as before and the sentiment is a rub on by MSE. The edge of the card was embossed again using one of the Cuttlebug border embossing folders.
The whole card front was recycled as it was (obviously) the front of another card but I had put it on wonky and when I tried lifting it to straighten I tore the card underneath. So rather than throw the whole thing away, I re-used it! The ribbon is from a pair of pyjamas from Santa :))
Papers used are Lilykate by Basic Grey, flowers are Papermania and Prima and the image is a Debbi Moore stamp which has been coloured with my (very) limited supply of ProMarkers.....this week has another lovely sketch, I think I will use this one often
The sketch is there on both cards, I just added an extra chip board flower. The papers are all from the Basic Grey 6 x 6 pads but they have lost their cover so I'm not sure what they are. Ribbons, brads etc were from my stash.
These cards also fit in with the challenge from Sunday on Rosie-Dee's blog which was to use chip board.
The Valentine card was commissioned by another card designer who, unfortunately, hasn't got the time to make one of her own........I was chuffed to little mint balls to be asked :)
I'm always wary when I get to this stage and have to pass it on. There are so many people I appreciate, everyone who reads and comments on my blog for starters cos without you, I probably would still be blogging! If you are reading my blog then please take it :)
My last card for now is another challenge card, this time from Page Plans. I used to do this challenge every week and only stopped doing it when I got really busy last year. I'm still busy but can incorporate some of the challenges into card orders. This one also fits with the Secret Crafter's challenge this week This weeks challenge is set by our lovely SUE:- AT THE ZOO As always any creation as long as there is a zoo/animal element on it. My animal is from a children's zoo!!! I've used assorted off cuts from my box. The image used is Sydney Sheep from DewDrop Crafts and I've coloured him with Clear Star and black Sakura pens.....cute or what! Flowers are again by Prima and the brad is Doodlebug.Week 71
I've never been on this sketch site before but came across it last night. I liked the sketch and this is what I came up with.
Papers used are My Minds Eye and Colorbok, flowers are Prima and Papermania and the brad is from my stash.
This card also fits in with this weeks Stamp Something challenge which is Summer in Winter Well it's the end of January and we just got a foot of snow and ice!! So for today's challenge, let's all make something to add a little summer to our winter days. It can be a project with summery colors, a summer theme, anything that will warm and brighten your day.
I would say this card is definitely 'summery!'
Card Sketch January #4
The green floral paper is from one of the K & Co mat stacks, not sure what the pink paper is and the brown is just leather look card, flowers are Prima and the brads are Doodlebug. This card also fits a challenge on a new challenge blog Colour Create where the the colours this week are brown, pink and green.

For those of you who drop by on a regular basis, you will know that DH~ is a part time DJ. The hotel where he has a residency decided last year that they were having a 70s and 80 theme and he was booked in for the Christmas parties. He has had 70s gear since before I met him but it had somehow 'shrunk!' over the last few year so he decided to have a new out fit made. He ordered the shoes and tried them on as soon as he got up. What he hadn't realised was that I was taking photos of Christmas cards and had my camera in my hand.........hence the lovely shot of him in his jamas and platform soled shoes. How (un)cool LOL It's quite funny to see him dressed up as he also wears an afro wig. He is 6' 3" in his bear feet so is ginormous in shoes and wig :)
This is Squirt, the smallest of our dippy cats. We were trying to pack to go to Greece last year and she wouldn't get out of the suitcase! She has to sit in any container she comes across.

The new challenge over on the DCM blog yesterday was:
The three papers I used are Pink Petticoat Little Big Dots, Papermania Scrumptious and an off cut of a Daisy D paper but I don't know which one. The image is from the Lola and Lilli cd from Pink Petticoat too. I chose this one with the ipod as DH is Dj'ing at an 18th birthday party tonight and thought it was quite appropriate. I just coloured her with Promarkers. The border is made using a Martha Stewart punch and the brads are Doodlebug........Valentine cards to complete the shop box. I finally got them all finished and packed at about 2.30 this morning, yawn!!
The green Core-dinations card and the burgundy Bazzill Bling card have been run through the Big Shot using a couple of Cuttlebug folders. The green card was sanded slightly with an emery board and both were mounted onto black card before being stuck onto the card base. The hearts were cut from gold foil using a Sizzlits die and one of them was embossed using the Paisley folder. Burgundy and gold ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis
All papers and card are from my off cuts box and were ripped embossed and inked (not necessarily in that order ;)). The small heart and the Doodlebug brads are from my stash. I'm still in the throes of the big clean up from the new year and am tackling the drawers (of which there are plenty), the great thing being that I keep finding stuff I forgot I had (!) and the hearts are in that category LOL I am also being quite ruthless and have sorted a large bag of stuff to go down to the local primary school (old freebie embossing boards, stickers and papers off magazine covers, embellishments that I wouldn't be seen dead using etc :))
And finally for this evening......I cut the labels using my new Nesties using Bazzill Bling and inked the edges using a darker blue chalk pad, the letters are Doodlebug stickers and the ribbon and heart were on my table.
The striped papers used are from Pink Petticoat as is the love bird image, the clown image is from a rubber stamp from Sally-Ann from when she used to sell stamps on Ebay and everything else is from my stash.
The papers are Sassafras before they dropped the 'lass'. The stamp is from Elzybells and is coloured with ProMarkers. The heart buckle was cut using a Bosscut die and the rub on is Papermania.
Dawny's Sketch #7
I'm almost in sketch heaven this week as I've found a few as you will see below. As I still have quite a few cards to make I think I might have to go on the lookout for some more sketch challenges ;)
Backing paper is a Pink Petticoat download, the image is another of Sally-Ann's downloads at Grab-a-Doodle-Do but this one wasn't pre-coloured, I used my ProMarkers to colour it. I really must get round to buying another set of these, I've got the pastels and a few of the four other colours and that's it! The image was mounted onto silver mirror card the a pale blue as was the computer generated sentiment. The silver 'dots' at the side are Jingle Bells from Craftwork Cards
I'm just about up to date with the challenges I usually take part in so I thought I would get them all up loaded now as tomorrow must be a wedding stationery day! I've managed to wing it for a couple of days as I'm waiting for a large order needed to start two of the orders I've got and have been waiting for the proofs back for this one. The confirmation came this morning so I need to get on with it now.
